Phantom… (Ichor incantation)

The Lion of Panjshir
Our fighter of insolence
To ride on the sincere
Igniter of innocence

Our fighter of insolence
Whispering alone
Igniter of innocence
Glistening gemstone

Whispering alone
Make my rhyme to address you
Glistening gemstone
Take the time to caress you

Make my rhyme to address you
Free people of virtue rush
Take the time to address you
Fair eagle of the Hindu Kush

Free people of virtue rush
To ride on the sincere
Fair eagle of the Hindu Kush
The Lion of Panjshir

P… is for PANTOUM  derived from the Pantun... a Malay verse form specifically from the Pantun Berkat… a series of interwoven quatrains

OFFICER… (Shir-Panjshir)

Smoke lifted, taste… burnt flesh
deafening silence they lay.
Extremely average, breathless
their lives taken for this virtual     reality

                         of the living dead.
                   A solitary figure rose,
                          only a mournful                                          optimist..

The cool fire of battle ahead
   proved in this respite, sharply
   dull
for their poor little rich ideals.
For this differing stability of    objective opinion
gives the signal for a forward retreat,  my lost son.

O… is for OXYMORON … 5th century Latin… from ancient Greek (oxus – sharply)   and  (moros – dull )… contradictory terms {together}…  as a compressed paradox… for effect… adds imagery and can enhance emotion.
